We had anticipated that the group would be small - approx. 15+ and found out when we arrived in Greece that another group would be joining us bring the number to 41. The tour was a bit intense for 81 and 82 years olds - i.e. climbing and frequently on uneven ground. All else was great i.e. sites seen, the tour guides' knowledge, our tour manager ( Savvas Papasavvas was incredible in every area), hotels. food, luggage handling. All could not have been better.

Great tour director- Savvass He was fun and kind. SANTORINI and Mykonos were beautiful but too crowded. Liked Nafplio- Delphi, Meteora, Olympus- Athens busy but interesting. Good food. Liked the small Farms and Ozo distillery. Great bus drivers-!

The ancient ruins were fantastic. I think we could have used a little bit more time in each place to hike up and around the ruins. The first night we arrived in Athens. We went to a restaurant that I felt did not have. The delicious food that I was expecting on a collector. Everyone on my table agreed that it was To dry and overcook despite us all having different main courses Amanda was very knowledgeable And highly organized. And all the tour guides at all the places we went were exceptional. The one take away that I could say I did not enjoy was even though we went to a place that showed us how to make pottery. It was just an excuse to try to get us to buy pottery the same with the olive oil experience. I enjoy learning about these things. But I do not like the fact that I feel pressured to order things. I did not come on this trip to go shopping. I got came on this trip to learn more about the ancient ruins and the culture of greece.

Wonderful guide, a great country and a good group of people to travel with. Our return flights had a very short layover, and probably unknown to Collette, Aegean and AA don't have a working relationship. Aegean couldn't check our baggage clear through to home, forcing us to collect our bags and then hustle to check in. We missed our connecting flight. Collette emergency team, arranged new flights in a couple of hours and we were on our way back home.

Dinners were short on fresh fruits, fish & vegetables. Too much meat & carbs. Buses didn’t have USB ports, good WiFi or bathrooms available. 2 hotel locations weren’t convenient to get around on own when we had free time.

Everything was planned perfectly. Even when things came up that were not on the itinerary, our group was able to pivot and get the full experience of Greece and its people. Our Tour Manager was on top of everything with grace and humor. He made sure that we were at several sites early so that we could get a full experience without the crowds. Selection of tour locations and activities was excellent - nice variety and representative of the country and culture. Accommodations highly satisfactory, with occasional glitches. Breakfasts wonderful for the most part, with notable exception of the To Go breakfast prior to early morning ferry ride. Included lunches and dinners good to excellent. Too much food on optional food tour. Buses felt safe and generally comfortable. At one location it was very shabby. Tour manager personable, entertaining and competent. Fell a little short on describing various destinations and helping us to be prepared for outings. The short walking tours lead by them not always satisfying. Local tour guides very good in general, but as would be expected,, accents at times interfered with comprehension. It would have been helpful in getting to know fellow travelers sooner and better if we had a travelers’ list with names and hometowns and name tags with last names printed in larger font.

It was the most wonderful trip ever!! I loved it! Theo , our Tour Manager was just amazing, so personable, entertaining, and knowledgeable!!! I think the trip to the monasteries was my favorite. The scenic bus trip up and back was breathtaking, and the bus trip from Santorini from the port .

Each day was a favorite. No two days alike. I had never been on a tour before. I see how value is added by education through subject matter experts. I just returned from a solo visit to KS and MO and I also appreciated "baggage handling". Now, when I think of Greece, I think of the cities (big and small villages), the plains, the mountains and the sea. Greece has it all. I'm thrilled we scheduled early meaning before the crowds and heat. I will be 68 in June and found the trip challenging but doable. If there is a next time, I will train. It was truly the best experience I have ever had.

Colette did not give us enough time to make our connection in Paris and we were off to a rocky start. We were 5 hrs. behind everyone else, missed our welcome dinner, missed meeting out tour members and tour guide and missed out on a lot of sleep. It caused us to be anxious and disappointed. We also got trapped in an elevator for 2 hrs. while waiting for the fire department to come with the jaws of life. We also made a bus load of people miss their ferry to Mykonos because of being trapped. My travel partner became very ill and had to see the doctor. We were not clear on how many hours we would be in the bus each day and how many stairs there were on each tour. It was my birthday while in Santorini and our tour manager barely said Happy Birthday to me or anything. I just never really connected with her and felt like she cared about what happened to us.

It was a wonderful experience. Nice mix of historical ruins, dance lessons, cooking class,walking food tour, cruise, and optional catamaran sunset tour with dinner, ride on donkeys. Tour manager was the best - Heather Larsen. She was informative, fun to be with, great stories and handled several medical emergencies very professional and competent. Great hotels,included meals were great, great tour guides, etc .

The most enjoyable trip of my life....so far😊!

The trip was incredible to start off with each location was planned out exceptionally well so we could maximize our time and avoid the huge crowds from cruise ships. The accommodations in each city were very good to excellent. The meals included were delicious. Our tour guide Heather was amazing I would specifically book a trip just to have her be the tour guide she’s that good. The additional local tour guides were outstanding too! The pacing of the tour was perfect too well balanced between touring and free time. Thank you Collette for my trip of a lifetime!

Very good but room for improvement

The service was very good. Although I am not in this situation, but there were several people that could not do all the steps that were involved on certain days. I believe that a good idea would be to list the number of steps that are involved on each day so they can make a conscious choice when selecting a tour. Another issue that I had was the quality of the hotels. I realize that you were limited in selection with Kalambaka for example, but all of my hotels with the Insight tour were exceptional. We pay a lot of money for these vacations and our accommodations should reflect that.

I don't know if it could be any better! Beautiful country with super friendly people. Superb hotels, incredibly knowledgeable guides, excellent bus drivers, breathtaking sites, a huge range of local well prepared foods, and wonderful travel companions.

Visiting the ancient sites. The acropolis, the site of the original games. The outstanding food and wine (especially white wines), and the very friendly and proud Greek people. My wife and I learned so much of the fabulous history from all of the excellent guides. Truly breathtaking country.

The tour manager was well organized and communicated well. He personally greeted each participant as we arrived and took an interest in our expectations of the trip. The logistics of the 14 day trip in Greece with 40 people in tow were daunting. Our tour guide managed with friendliness and professionalism. And he made it all fun!

The sites we visited included the must-sees; I.e., the Acropolis, Meteora, Olympia, the Delphi. But we also visited a working olive tree orchard and an icon studio where the artisans still used the old techniques. We appreciated the various experts that were brought in to explain the ancient sites and museums. They were all very knowledgeable and articulate.

All I had to do was sign up for the trip through church. We had a person who organized it for us. 10 of us went. Everything was taken care of through Collette. From the flights to our guide, itinerary, meals, hotels,excursions, was exceptional! Felt as though I got an overall feel of the entire country! Wonderful , historic,ancient ruins, wineries, olive farms, monasteries atop the mtns,to the islands of Santorini and Mykonos! What else could there be??!!And very reasonably priced!

Phenomenal Tour of Greece

Our Collette tour of Greece was phenomenal. We covered a lot of ground, saw a lot of the country and the itinerary was a wonderful combination of guided group events and time on your own to explore. Our Tour Guide was extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humor making the trip educational and a lot of fun. He kept our group well-informed about the daily plans and made sure that we were prepared for the day’s events. The local guides arranged by Collette were also very informative and we loved the visits to local venues especially a family farm and a winery. We would recommend Collette and this particular tour to anyone.

Great itinerary! Visiting all of the ancient ruins throughout the country was truly amazingly and I think my favorite place is the gorgeous Santorini and in particular the ancient city of Akrotiri.

Outstanding Value in this Trip to Greece

Had a wonderful trip and visited many parts of Greece that cruise travelers never get to see. We rode about 1,300 miles on a very comfortable Coach with frequent rest room stops. Hotels were excellent, daily buffet breakfasts were very good and had many options for every palate. Lunches and dinners provided by Collette were very good. Local tour guides were excellent and, in a couple of cases, were the same guides referenced in the Rick Steves book. Collette tour guide was terrific and provided us with many options when we had time to ourselves. This was our 2nd Collette trip and we will definitely travel with Collette again. Considering all we saw, the entrance fees, hotels, meals etc...GREAT VALUE!

Greece was my dream trip. I particularly enjoyed Athens, The Acropolis was incredible and the self guided museum tours were an extra bonus. I enjoyed the optional food tour was joy. Delphi, Delphi, Olympia, were great. I enjoyed the lunch at the winery. The scenery on the drive to Mycenae was spectacular. The Bee Hive Toombs and the Lions were very interesting, Mykonos was too much of a shopping destination for me. But I greatly enjoyed a optional visit to Delos. Santorini was great the excavation site at Akrotini, I also enjoyed the optional 7 mile walk to Olia and the stunning coastal views.

We were pick pocketed on the first day and lost most everything. Collette offered no assistance and couldn't even provide information until 4 days into tour as to when we'd be near a western union. They need to have a protocol in place to assist their clients when there is a crime or issue. One of the reasons we do tours is the safety and security of it. This was a huge let down. We had to borrow money from our fellow passengers because collette could offer nothing. It was not their fault as to what happened to us but they should have been able to get us in touch with our own money. ie - be able to tell us immediately when we'd be near a western union, venmo or other money transfers could have been made.

Everything we were hoping to see and do in Greece!

Our tour director, Liz, was amazing -- even though we had to get up very early one morning. After experiencing the crowds later on in the day we were grateful she made us. Seriously, it was well organized and very informative. The local guides and drivers were also very informative and welcoming. On the mainland we experienced andsaw places that were the essence of Greece. And the cooking class, food tour of Athens and Greek dancing class rounded out things nicely. Of course, the islands were a fun way to complete the trip with the right amount of sight seeing and free time. Much better than staying on board a ship. Thanks for a great time and we will certainly think of Colette for our next trip

A+ Service Experience

The Tour Manager was excellent. He was knowledgeable, approachable, and responsive. He also had a great sense of humor. The tour driver was a highly skilled driver who superbly navigated the turns and narrow roads. He was always efficient with loading and unloading the suitcases, and he always extended his hand to help you off the bus. The local guides were all wonderful and knew their subject matter well.

The tour was a perfect blend of mainland and island experiences. We also had time on our own in various places. My favorite memorable experience was visiting the monastery and nunnery in Meteora, followed the next day by a visit to a local studio to see painters in the process of creating Byzantine icons. My second most memorable experience was visiting the ruins in Akrotiri in Santorini, once a highly developed Minoan community. There was also a nice blend of cultural experiences, such as visiting a farm and tasting the olive oils they produce, learning some Greek dances, learning how to make tiropites (cheese pies) and tzaziki sauce, and wine tasting at a Santorini winery. I enjoyed them all. The food throughout was a culinary delight.

Our director Savaas was a delight, full of fun, and did his job very well. The Limited time we had in Athens walking around 4 hours without a map and needing to be at a different designated place blocks away from where we got off-originally was very stressful. I was worried we would not find our way back to where we were going to get picked up..so feeling totally comfortable enjoying the sights was hard. We had to ask another tour company bus driver for directions to where we were to meet everyone. He was nice enough to give us his map. The food tour was not worth the $99.00 Trying different foods was nice, but not filling for a dinner After a long day. The hotels for the most part were too far away from the main portion of the town.

When the Booklet mentioned Santorini , I thought we would be staying near the oia blue dome area, but we were far from it, and only spent a very short time seeing that area. Time was filled up waiting at a restaurant for food, so very little time was available to see the beauty of this destination. I was disappointed. The sights were absolutely beautiful, we loved all of that. One of my favorite times was going up the cliffs in Fira on the donkey.

I would tour with collette again no question. Our flight was booked very well. We were greeted at the air port and shuttled to our hotel after an exhausting flight. Our hotels were quite nice save one that we mentioned and I feel will be avoided or corrected for the next tour. Food was excellent and served beautifully. Touring was informative especially for a midwestern women.

I thoroughly enjoyed many venues for this trip but I do believe the most memorable was the evening of Greek line dancing. I haven't laughed that hard or felt so close to any people as I did my fellow participants. Under the anything else I would like to send special thanks and praise to George. I made an error in judgment and did not have an icon shipped home. I accidentally stumbled and fell on it. Breaking it. George sent it back to factory and saw to its repair. It has been shipped to me this week. I have received notification from the monastery. He went far above what I had asked. I feel very much in his debt for such devotion to the completion of this. It is my favorite memory of Greece. Thanks to him I will have it as a memory.

Above all expectations!

What an experience! I only wish I could do it all over, but having done this tour once leaves me well satisfied that I've experienced Greece completely. I can now confidently plan other tours before coming back to enjoy the beauty once more. Every day was a new adventure. The hotels were unique, tours well planned and restaurants all with wonderful choices and service. I loved having some days to just wander, but mostly, since I wasn't familiar with traveling, I truly appreciated the tour manager. Our tour manager was well versed in the country, language and culture. She made this trip infinitely more enjoyable. She was a guide, concierge, advocate and teacher all in one. I felt pampered throughout the tour. I highly recommend Collette for your next vacation adventure.

Our trip manager, Liz, was excellent -- very helpful and very flexible, handled all last-minute gllitches very well. All of the hotels were clean and very nice, and the planned activities were interesting and well planned. A few of the hikes were more physically demanding than we had expected, but we managed. I would definitely recommend this trip to friends, though I would warn them about the level of physical difficulty.

Unforgettable Trip to Greece

We had a phenomenal tour manager whose love of Greece was so evident. Heather informed us of the history, culture, food and so much more. This is a very well balanced tour. I highly recommend Exploring Greece and Its Islands. You can't really see Greece unless you explore both the land and the islands. Our driver, Tryfon on the mainland was exceptional! He was an amazing driver and very kind man. He was very patient and caring with the group. He picked up the group in Athens when we flew back from Santorini, we all cheered and gave him kisses and hugs. Tryfon and Heather were such a good team. They worked hard to make sure the group were punctual for all tours. Tryfon kept the bus extremely clean. It's not his fault, but there was no bathroom onboard. Even though we made frequent comfort stops, it's nice to have the comfort of a bathroom on board, just in case. All of our guides were excellent!

I still can't believe all we saw! The Acropolis, Delphi, Meteora, the lovely seaside town of Nafplio and who could forget Olympia. Walking through the Olympic Stadium where the first Olympic Games were held was unforgettable. My only complaint, and it is not with Collette, is the overwhelming number of cruise ships that invaded the islands. Both on Mykonos and Santorini the sheer number of cruise ship passengers made navigation of local areas unbearable! I wish the country would limit the number of ships into port. There are far too many ships! We were at least investing in the overall economy of Greece since we stayed in local hotels, ate at local restaurants, purchased food and goods, etc.

From start to finish, the Collette experience was professional, warm and customer centric. The representative on the phone who "sold" us the tour was knowledgeable and great to work with. Our Tour Manager, Liz was out of this world. Extremely knowledgeable, people focused and able to manage a group of 45 people seemingly without effort. Her experience cam through when weather impacted the itinerary, informing us and positioning us so that we were to continue our tour with minimum inconvenience and gave us a great story to tell.

There are three reasons we rated the tour five star, Liz De Stefano, Liz De Stefano and Liz De Stefano. Having a Tour Director that is very knowledgeable, well experienced, people focused and able to gently but firmly inform and move the group along is a special set of skills. Well organized, outstanding tour!

Entire tour EXCEEDED 5 stars! Perfect pacing and the order of the tour allowed us to see so MUCH early in the tour and gave us the free time towards the end to enjoy the beautiful islands and beaches. Our tour guide, Liz related so well to all the age groups involved. I was pleased to see so many young college age students traveling with grandparents and parents. Liz knew all the "ins and outs" to keep us away from the crowds and commotion. Liz knew each area well and gave good advice on various options, including restaurants and other available sites to visit on our free time. All of the meals offered a variety of fresh specialty's. Each day was unique and very enjoyable.

We thought it was a little pricey. We expected some of the meals and hotel accommodations to be better. The tour manager , Savvas was outstanding. Also Penny at Delphi and Nicky at Olympia were true professionals. The hotels in Olympia and Nafplion were above par. Dinner at the outside restaurant in the Olympia hotel was the best of the trip. And the cooking class with lunch in Olympia terrific. The dinner and atmosphere at the beach front restaurant in Kamari on Santorini were amazing - but at $216 per couple, overpriced.

Collette also did a great job rearranging our side trips when the Greek Easter holiday made the original dates impossible. They also helped when we were unable to leave Mykonos due to high winds. While the pace was a bit fast pace; but allowed the tour to incorporate many interesting and enjoyable sites and events. With exception of one hotel all of the hotel rooms were very comfortable, and all facility were very nice. The tour manager ( George G.) contributed greatly to my rating; he handled several unexpected changes due to local holidays and weather with the best outcome and always pleasant and helpful. He had a vast amount of information and interesting facts to share with the tour making the activities more meaningful. George also recommended several wonderful restaurant options and alternate activities.

Normally terrific, but really screwed up this time. I paid Collette $160/each for outgoing seat upgrade for myself and roommate Pam. Pam reimbursed me for her share. Then Collette billed Pam for the same upgrade. I reimbursed her my share. The seats weren’t much better than usual.

Liked it very much. Tour guide, George, is a very kind and thoughtful person. Members of tour mixed with each other, rather than being cliques. High winds on Mykonos altered scheduled departure to Santorini, so another day in Mykonos allowed us more time to further explore and shop, and stay in our original roomy rooms, since next day’s guests couldn’t arrive. Extra day in San Marcos hotel is not a penalty!

Amazing Food, Sites and Weather and new Forever Friends!

the trip was so well planned and so much information was shared by our very knowledgeable tour guide Liz! Unfortunately at two of our hotels our view was non existent as opposed to our other travelling companions. In Tolo our room overlooked an alley and a garage roof, whereas our friends had gorgeous water views.As well as no view there was road noise and foot traffic behind us and then in Santorini, the resort was beautiful, however we also had a room near the parking lot and an outdoor sitting area that was so small and viewed the wall, whereas most of our friends had gorgeous views and large outdoor space. I feel we did not get the same value for our accommodations as our friends did and we all paid the same for the trip. This needs to be improved!

Overall, good information provided prior to trip. However, I did not receive the final packet (with plane e-tickets) until less than 10 days before the trip. Also, when I had problems confirming my flight on-line, the Collette's customer service person said she could not help me.

We went to amazing places. The first week was a little bit packed with activities, but there was sufficient "down time" for me. The second week, in Mykonos and Santorini was wonderful - beautiful places and lots of free time to explore. This was my fourth Collette tour, and I'd rate the others higher, partly because two of the hotels on this one were poor, and in another there was only cold water out of the shower, and we were there for three days. The Tour Director makes all the difference, however, and ours was very very good.

We thought the tour could improve on time management - lots of lost time. Specifically, the day we ferried to Mykonos we were on the 4:45 pm ferry. No planned activities that day so they took us to Nafplio and let us wonder around on our own for an hour. Would have enjoyed more time in Nafplio with a tour or an earlier ferry to Mykonos. For lunch that day they took us to a bus rest stop. Wasted day. The hotel in Mykonos was not near anything. Hotel ran a shuttle into town, but the shuttle only ran every 2 hours. Then on final day, arrived at our hotel in Athens at 1:30. Hotel was not near anything and a cab into central Athens could have cost roundtrip over 100 euros. A hotel more central so we could have enjoyed Athens would have been great. Tour guide was inexperienced -her first trip with Collette. She tried real hard but her inexperience was a apparent.

Favorite memory - the optional food tour in Athens and the catamaran trip we took on our own in Santorini. Local tour guides were excellent. Two hotels were very disappointing - very old and outdated. (One hotel you couldn't get WiFi anywhere in the hotel) Location of hotels was below average compared to other tours we have taken - attractions not within walking distance or cab friendly. Qualilty of meals were mixed - some really good, others just fair.

I would suggest that walking the streets of Athens to the restaurant after being up for 34 hours was a bit too much. I would also suggest not using the subway since one of our members was pickpocketed. Our luggage on the ferries was not secure. Anyone could have grabbed our luggage and walked off the ferry.

We joined the tour a day later, we were met at the airport and checked into the hotel. We met up with the tour guide later that day and she provided us will all necessary information. The tour for us began the next morning. There was a good mix of culture and history and fun. All of the hotels except one were excellent. The group dinners were outstanding. All of the tour guides were excellent and they did a great job of getting us to locations before the cruise ships, or other tour buses showed up.

The hotels selected (except one) were excellent along with the tour guides. Everything was arranged we just had to pack our bags and go.

Fascinating locations a wonderful guide. Great tour group, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Greece. It was a bit too long (14 days), though we don't know what we would eliminate to shorten it. We appreciated having the free days/time on Mykonos and Santorini. The front part of the tour was very busy, early mornings and lots of walking, some of it quite steep. I would average the trip as a 4 on strenuous walking, etc. We could do it, but there were a few who had canes and could not climb the steep steps. We loved all the spots that we visited.

Greece, we love you!

First off, we had an awesome tour manager, Lucy. She spoke the language and even lived in Greece, giving us more insight of the place that we appreciated. Collette did a great job on picking places to see and places to eat. The day tours and tour guides were all amazing! One too many ruins but looking back on my pics, I'm grateful we got to see all of that. Some hotels were better than others but wait till you get to the islands! Then you are suddenly on another planet, enjoying, relaxing, exploring and loving life! I wish there was an extra day in Mykonos because we loved it so much! Highly recommend this tour.

The tour was great! It's a lot of early mornings but worth it to see so much in one day. Arcopolis was wonderful! Tour in Delphi was great too! My favorite was the islands, more Mykonos. It was so beautiful there and people were so incredibly nice.

Our Greece experience is so much fun with great wealth of knowledge. ******* is exceptionally incredible tour manager. Her concern for the group is genuine. She knows how to handle us with great respect. When I lost my jewelry that I just bought she didn’t stop until she found it. The best one was her airport information. It was indeed very helpful when our Athens flight was delayed causing a domino effect on our connecting flight to US. Thanks to her info we were able to manage to get our connecting flight except our luggages we’re delayed. As an avid travelers collette always met our expectations.

The itinerary of this tour is excellent. I did this tour two years ago and wanted to return to Greece and decided doing the tour again was the best way to experience the places again. This time the tour manager was only okay. She did not meet 6 of us at the airport and we had to wait an hour for the bus driver to come to us. Also, she was not very knowledgeable about the country and its traditions the way the 2015 tour manager was. Although she was good at managing the details of the tour, she made little effort to engage with the 32 of us in her group.

This tour is a perfect mix of studying Greek history and relaxing in the islands. As I researched tours by other groups, the Collette tour is the most extensive.

The big plus was the tour manager. Give all the credit to Heaher -- she was exceptional -- gave us good information, was always there for us, even took photos of the whole group along us by ourselves on this tour and emailing it to us. Too -- good weather played it toll. I had a wonderful time.

It was the most wonderful way to visit Greece. I'm a cruise person but I choose a bus tour to be able to see it in depth. I saw places I never knew about it was incredible. Those villages in the mountains the people and those islands. Loved it.

There were too many memorable experiences to narrow it down to one. Walking dinner tour in Athens, tours in Athens, Meteroa, Mykonos, Olympia, Santorini and Mycenae - all were great. Sunset dinner in Santorini was wonderful. The food was great, our dancing lesson was awesome!

The mainland part of the tour was fantastic. Did not care for Mykonos other than the San Marcos hotel (fantastic place). Santorini is much prettier than Mykonos. Consider doing more mainland Greece and have the option for going to Mykonos or Santorini.

I love Collette. In fact this is my 5th trip with them. I always enjoy my trips with them. Very educational. Each Tour Managers have their own way of leading the tour and so far I am satisfied. This last trip our Tour Manager *personal details removed by Feefo* is a very effective one. Very good leader and very knowledgeable . I enjoyed Greece so much because of her.

Highly recommended Greek holiday

All the tourists on the tour got on well and this made the holiday even more enjoyable. However, there was one downside --- flights booked for very inconvenient times

Good tour, bad hotels.

The tour guide went out of her way to make sure we had wonderful experiences. I am not pleased with the hotels Collette had us stay in during the tour. None were centrally located, it was a walk, bus ride, taxi, or metro to get to anyplace you wanted to be! Plus there was the flood in the hotel on Mykanos. Our hotel room was flooded with an inch of water. The emergency was not handled by the management in the best manner. Also, there were no hand rails in the halls. We had to go down steps with a waterfall around our feet and nothing to hold onto!

Again, I downgrade Collette on the hotels chosen. My favorite memory of the tour was Meteora.

I really feel like I have truly experienced the entire country after the tour. We got to see lots of historical cites and also the beauty of the islands. There were lots of experiences included that you would never experience if you were planning the trip yourself, such as a dance lesson and a Greek cooking demonstration. It was a great mix of planned activities and free time. I would highly recommend the trip to anyone.

Two for two: have had two great experiences with Collette tours.

Collette is quite thorough in preparing clients for a tour and handling necessary arrangements at destination. Tour managers seem to be experienced and knowledgeable about country, culture, and sites, as well as being helpful and efficient.

Tour was excellent. Well-rounded with historical site visits, local culture, pleasure points, and free time. Tour manager was top notch! Accommodations and meals were, for the most part, quite good. Overall, tour seemed to be good value. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Too hard to identify single experience. Loved it all. Beautiful country, rich history, gracious people.

Our tour Manager, Liz, did an excellent job showing us the mainland of Greece and two islands. All transfers and hotels were taken care of. The hotels were wonderful. The places that the tour included were just what we wanted. Liz even went out of her way to find an additional spot for us to visit

It would be hard to pick just one, but we enjoyed the cooking class, the time spent on Mykonos and the wonderful view of the sunset on Santorini. Visiting all the wonderful sites on the mainland were fantastic. We are planning to use collette for our next tour.

This is our second time to travel with Collette. Service is great, anytime we needed to change or add they were responsive and eager to help us. We recommend Collette to everyone we talk to about our trips! Yes we will use you again! The only thing that I can say might be improved on this trip was you need to emphasize the not walking but the HIKING!! This was really hard on older people that have issues with knees or feet. The hotel UTOPIA was a great hotel, but not much for handicap accessible. Also the hotel El Greco, we should have been able to get our room closer to things so that handicap did not have so far to walk again UP. Other than that it was great!! Just things you might mention for another group.

The inclusions were not so good the first one the dinner at night and cruise didn't even work out so that should e worked out. We did get our refund for that which was fine, but either don't include any or change locations. Other dinner was ok, not great just ok.

This tour was rated a 3 and it was, I think a five because of all the hiking we had to do. A lot of hiking. Hotels were too far from shopping. Water was not drinkable and not offered at some hotels. Tour director was not very helpful, and went way ahead of us and didn't wait for us to gather to hear what she was saying, I recommend all tour directors to repeat, repeat time of departure, bags out breakfast. Also distance and time to next destination, to give us time to get prepare to disembark. We had a director that would say okay contemplation mode, we knew we were almost there and we would be ready to get off. I hope this will help Collette in future tours Aside from this, we loved the history
